Description
Gold Leaf Double Wall Sconce for a Traditional-Modern Candle Silhouette
The Gold Leaf Double Wall Sconce with Fabric Shades pairs a hand-applied antique gold leaf finish on a ribbed backplate with crisp fabric shades set atop antique-inspired candle bodies. It is available in vertical or horizontal orientation, suited to flanking mirrors, stairwells, hallways, and above consoles or headboards. The gold leaf finish is applied and sealed by hand, so subtle tonal variation is characteristic of the piece.
Key Features:
- Hand-applied gold leaf finish: A ribbed backplate and bobeches carry a genuine gold leaf surface, sealed for durability in normal indoor conditions.
- Fabric shades over candle bodies: Modern shades atop an antique-inspired silhouette update the traditional double-sconce form.
- Two orientation options: Vertical suits stairwells, narrow entryways, and mirror flanking; horizontal suits hallways, consoles, and headboards.
- Two E12/E14 sockets: Requires two candle-style bulbs, with LED recommended for cooler running beneath the fabric shades.
- Dimmable with compatible bulb: Works with dimmable E12/E14 LED bulbs and a compatible TRIAC or leading-edge dimmer switch.
